Buffalo Ricotta, Honey & Zaatar Toast

Perfect for a light breakfast in the summer, or a snack in the sun. It takes no time to make and the reward far outweighs the effort. 

Serve it as a side to a main meal or on a mezze platter with crackers instead of bread, or leave out the bread and add fresh figs & toasted nuts or seeds for a gorgeous summer breakfast.


1 piece of sourdough
A few spoonfuls fresh Buffalo Ricotta – or any ricotta or young cheese will do


  1. Toast your bread in a toaster or oven until crispy and golden.
  2. Top with spoonfuls of ricotta, a drizzle of honey and heavy sprinkling of zaatar all over.


You can add fresh sliced figs, peaches, or berries to this for a fruity twist.
